Emily is passionate about empowering her patients through a collaborative and results-driven approach, ensuring they achieve their health, recovery, and performance goals. With over a decade of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, she brings a holistic and well-rounded perspective to treatment, helping individuals not only recover but also optimize movement and prevent future injuries.
Graduating from AUT in 2014, Emily has continuously advanced her expertise, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture (2018) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (2019). She also holds certifications in FIFA Medical Diploma and Functional Movement Screening (FMS), equipping her with a diverse skill set to assess, treat, and enhance movement efficiency.
Emily has extensive experience treating a wide range of patients, from those working toward lifestyle and mobility goals to individuals recovering from acute injuries or managing long-standing conditions. Over the years, she has been actively involved with local football and futsal clubs, where she has worked closely with both recreational and elite-level athletes, refining her expertise in sports rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
Currently, Emily is the physiotherapist for the NZ Futsal Ferns and await to attend the first-ever FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup in the Philippines later this year. Her deep understanding of the demands of high-performance sports allows her to provide cutting-edge treatment and injury prevention strategies tailored to each individual's needs.

Meet Janina - Dedicated to Injury Rehab and Long-Term Wellness
Janina graduated from Otago University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has continued to advance her expertise through further study. She completed her Certificate in Manual Therapy in 2015, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Western Acupuncture in 2016, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2019. In 2020, she also gained formal Pilates training.
Her clinical experience extends beyond the clinic, having worked with international sporting teams including New Zealand Football, where she supported athletes in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation. Janina was part of the medical team for the New Zealand Football Women’s U17s at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
With a special interest in shoulder and spinal injuries, Janina combines hands-on treatment with a holistic, evidence-based approach tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
Janina is fluent in Tagalog and is passionate about making physiotherapy accessible and effective for diverse communities.
